J: Jenya Cooper

I met Jenya Cooper through model mayhem, what caught my attention about her profile besides her beauty is that she only models for the experience and to have fun. This told me that she’s not restricted by the self-imposed limitations that people tend to give themselves. Many models that I’ve come across have restrictions because of their agency or what they imagine an agency will label them as. But Jenya’s only want is to have fun…. Let’s go!

MYRQ
: Ok, we know your name, so let’s start off by telling everyone about your background and where you are from.
J: I was born in Ukraine, but moved around to Moscow, Belgium, The Netherlands,…And now I’m here! ? But my family is all from Ukraine, my grate grand mother is still alive, I was named after her! She lives in a house on the countryside, I love going there, It always connects me with the real things in life!

MYRQ: What languages do you speak?
J: Russian, Dutch, French and English.

MYRQ
: You told me a very interesting story about how ended up staying in the city of Angels, care to share that with us?
J: Sure! I was traveling through the state of California, and when I got to Los Angeles, I fell in love with Venice Beach, where I made friends, and one of them became my boyfriend. I moved in with him after just a week. He’s a very raw, artistic, spontaneous Frenchman, who I will never forget!

MYRQ: We talked the long line of strong women that you inherited your personality from. What’s the one thing that you feel strongest about when it comes to your life?
J: Optimism, it’s very hard sometimes, but I always try to find it within me!

MYRQ: What did you think about the American Man when you first arrived and how long did it take you to adjust or understand?
J: Hahaha that’s a good one! Most men that I met in California are not shy at all to express whatever is on their mind or in their pants. Coming from a more conservative background, it was a little shoking! Also I was very amused by the way a lot of men dress here! The short shorts, even if they’re 60, the baseball hat even if they’re in a nice restaurant, and especially the sneakers and the long white socks…I guess it’s the culture thing...

MYRQ: What other interest do you have besides modeling?
J: I have always loved singing, dancing, acting, drawing and painting. I also love traveling. I have interest in different cultures. I also have a big love for animals.

MYRQ: Who do you most admire and why?
J: My mother, she’s super strong, she’s been through a lot, and she’s so smart and beautiful.

MYRQ: Tell us a secret about yourself that you want everyone to know.
J: Why would somebody keep a secret if they wanted everybody to know it?! ?

MYRQ: What is your strongest connection to the modeling, photo or fashion industry?
J: I love the camera, I love helping make a beautiful picture, it’s fun to create a vision.

MYRQ
: What does style mean to you?
J: Expressing your personality through your wardrobe, accessories, smell,…

MYRQ
: What do you fear the most?
J: I don’t carry fear in my heart.

MYRQ
: What do you desire out of life?
J: I desire diversity in my life, growth, connection with people, nature, animals, fulfilling moments.

MYRQ
: What are your stats and measurements?
J: That’s one of the first questions an American man asks! ?

MYRQ: I told Jenya that the fact she’s not concerned with making it in the modeling industry is the reason that she will. Do you agree?
